Happy Thanksgiving and a HUGE Sale on ALL Wise Owl Products!!

I started writing this post this morning: in my pj’s, drinking coffee, listening to Ennio Morricone – feeling just very peaceful and centered. What a great start to the day!

Then a sudden dread took place, and my mind went frantically to panic mode. Forget the blog post, forget the dog, forget the coffee – We had REAL things to worry about!!! WHAT TIME SHOULD I PUT THE TURKEY IN??? Not just any turkey, mind you – it’s a whopping 20 lb bird to feed 4 people?? I mean, c’mon. As my turkey-obsessed husband keeps telling me, every year as I go to the grocery store, ‘GO BIG, or GO HOME’. He said this year’s bird was too small.

We’ll be eating turkey until Christmas.

Possibly the New Year.

By New Year, I’ll probably be in the ER being treated for food poisoning brought on by rancid turkey. My love for that man, and his love for turkey, could well and truly be my demise. What a crap way to leave this world.

So, before I start wrestling with that bird, I want to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving (of course!!). I’m all for having a day based on pure gratitude! And I hope you’re all spending the day with people that bring you joy.

Joy feeds your soul, better than any 20 lb overcooked turkey. I don’t worry about what time to start ‘joy’ or when ‘joy’ will be ready, or (in my case, if an abundance of ‘joy’ will eventually kill me; it’s just there – I just have to give myself time to acknowledge its presence.

Part of my joy is allowing myself to be creative, and today – that’s what I want to share with you (just watch this seamless transition to how I go from turkey, to joy, to paint). Boom!! Seamless, I tell you.

So today I get to share some of my joy with you; in the form of paint. Wait, what?? (well, you might say, that’s not really seamless, Diane – because we know you’re going to start pushing paint on us), and to which I would respond ‘Why, yes I am – but at a reduced price. So it’s a gift, right?’.

So – here’s the big news: Wise Owl paint are having a BIG sale on all of their products, and Cling On paint brushes.

From today until Cyber Monday, you can now get

20% off

There’s no denying it: it’s a great saving, I’m guessing that this big a saving is only going to happen once maybe twice a year. So, if you want to try their products, this would be the time to do it. At the very least, you should bundle up on the furniture salve.

I’ve been using their products for several months now – it’s actually a really good product and a really great company headed by two very cool women. And they introduce new products, or new colors on a seasonal basis. Yesterday, they introduced five new One-Hour Enamel colors (that Charleston Green, seriously – go check it out), and two new furniture salve smells. That’s most of my selling speil for you this bright and lovely day, because I just looked at the clock and then back at the turkey, and dread is coming back into my life.

Here are a few of my pieces that I’ve refinished using Wise Owl paint, just to give you an idea of what you can achieve with it. I also painted my kitchen cabinets in OHE in Weathervane.

Creativity feeds my soul. Not turkey. Turkey is good, but in moderation. My husband doesn’t understand how my mind works. To understand him is to watch this clip, and replace ‘Shrimp’ with ‘turkey’.

And I wish you all a fabulous day filled with love, and turkey – but most of all gratitude!

{insert catchy ending phase here}
