Very happy to announce that my antique buffet recently won 1st place in the nationally-held General Finish 2016 Design Challenge Contest (Professional Upcycling Furniture).
It is quite stunning. Early 1900’s Jacobean style, with wonderful ornate carvings.
Custom mixed Annie Sloan chalk paint, with layers of glaze to achieve an aged patina.
Buffet top I stained (I love the combination of wood and paint). Raised detailing has been painted with a gold metallic paint, and then gold mica powder and wax has been added for extra definition and depth.
If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind piece of furniture, this may be the one for you.
Measurements are approx 59″ x 20″ x 43″.
Local pickup from Portland, Oregon is greatly welcomed. I will, however, be willing to work with you to get a shipping rate for the buffet. (The shipping quote listed is just a wild crazy guess).
Custom pieces done on request, time permitting.
